Training Opportunities Program Section 30 

Section 30 approval allows a claimant to receive unemployment insurance (UI) benefits while enrolled in full-time, approved training. To enable claimants to obtain this goal, the Division of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) waives the requirement to look for and accept suitable employment.
